Every dragon scale mug is made from a wheelthrown body with a hand-carved scale texture, making each mug truly one-of-a-kind. Rub your hands over the scales for a relaxing, tactile experience. This design is RETIRING because the hand-carved scales are actually quite hard on my hands.

• Wash before your first use
Although definitely not strict rules, here are some other suggestions to ensure a long life for any handcrafted pottery:
• Microwave only if at least half full to avoid creating hot spots in the clay
• Never go from extreme cold (refrigerator) to extreme heat (microwave/oven)
• Avoid putting recently washed ceramics in the microwave (allow time for exposed foot to dry)
• Swirl warm water in the mug to prep for hot liquids

Fired Figments pottery is microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. It is suggested that you hand wash your dragon mugs because of the fragile nature of their horns and tails.

Gift wrapping and packaging
Fired Figments reuses packing materials donated by other local businesses whenever possible. When reclaimed materials are not available, an effort is made to use materials made from recycled content and that can also be recycled.
